It stalls on a missing document: the signed calculations the checking authority asks for, the stability file the insurer wants, the technical file the bank reads before committing, the construction drawings the installer has to follow. These are the documents we produce and sign — and we stay on the project through to handover. Structures go further: the ones we calculate, we manufacture.

Insurers of industrial sites require justification of the wind resistance of equipment added on the roof, to the FM Global standard — DS 1-15 for photovoltaic structures. Without this file: reservations at the risk survey, blocking recommendations, premium loadings — and a weakened claim in the event of storm damage.
We produce this file in the format the loss prevention engineer expects: pressure calculations by roof zone, uplift, sliding and overturning forces, sizing of the ballast or the anchors, then compliance requirement by requirement. We remain available to answer your insurer directly.

We have developed our own designs, installed on industrial sites and public car parks in Morocco. Depending on how far along your project is, we either take up the calculations of the carport you have chosen, or we adapt and deliver ours. The carport simulator measures what yours would produce, from your own outline.
